This "freak of nature" is a burlesque in
stone.

 | Eight miles southwest of Ten Sleep is
Castle Gardens. Scattered over a quarter section of ground are caricatures in effect, from
animals and castles, to salted peanuts and cannonballs.
|
 | Castle Gardens rises ornately out of the
badlands exposing red spires, giant toadstools and other interesting shapes of stone.
Sage, cedar and juniper surround the area which includes a unique picnic area in the
"bowl" of the Garden. |
