431) is 30 miles of stark contrast between farm and ranch land and the Gooseberry
Formations and Painted Desert.

 | Visitors are offered the
opportunity to visit the Gooseberry Creek Scenic Turnout located one half hour west of
Worland. Nature provides a closeup look at the results of erosional forces which
have sculpted the Wyoming landscape. It was near here that remains of the Eohippus,
the prehistoric horse, were found. |
